At my current employment, there is a train the training program setup but having the online course can allow officers interested in training, a more structured course to ensure that they are capable and prepared to train their agency officers. Learner support is just as valuable in the workplace as it is in DE. In my position I provide learner support to our learners regarding any questions with the application. We are expected to be available 24/7 to our learners because as police officers they can be accessing the application at any time and may require assistance. Learner support doesn't only assist the learner but at times acts as the voice for the learner. I am expected to communicate any desires for changes or improvement on the application from the learner to our developers.
